UPDATE: A new date has been set!

Bowen Health announces a ribbon cutting planned in November for their health clinic in Kokomo, IN. Offering mental health care, psychiatric services, substance use counseling and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use, the new clinic serves everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.

Bowen Health has appointed Matthew Riggle to oversee clinic operations as Practice Administrator. Matthew is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and has extensive expertise in mental health practice operations. Kim Shininger serves as Director of Community Engagement and shares the mission of Bowen Health to improve the health outcomes of all residents in Howard County.

The following providers are accepting new patients:

Amy Foerg, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, providing psychiatric services to patients, including medication management; physician, Carolyn Warner-Greer, MD, providing MAT services for substance use; Lawrence Stroup, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Ashlee Shoaff, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor; and Mercedes Horace, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor.

“We are thrilled to offer services in Howard County with such a dedicated, compassionate staff,” said Lori Augustus, Bowen Health Executive Director. “We’ve experienced a warm embrace from everyone in the community who are excited to see more healthcare services available, especially for low-income families who traditionally have had limited access to quality healthcare.”

The public is invited to attend the Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 11. The Bowen Health office is located at 2312 S Dixon Rd., Suite 250, Kokomo. Tours of the facility will follow, and the public will be able to meet the staff with refreshments and leave with a special gift.
