Bowen Health Launches Outpatient Psychiatric Care in Syracuse and Announces New Clinical, Medical, and Leadership Appointments

Bowen Health is pleased to announce the addition of three key leadership appointments and three new medical providers as the organization continues to expand access to compassionate, patient‑centered care across northern Indiana. 

Bowen Health has appointed Chad Shirar as Director of Clinical Integration. Chad brings more than twenty years of experience across hospitals, wellness centers, care management organizations, employer-based clinics, diabetes programs, and primary care operations. He will lead process improvement initiatives and guide organizational change to support high quality, integrated service delivery. 

Amie Jones has been named Director of Transitional Living programs. Amie brings operations experience across both the mental health and intellectual and developmental fields, along with a deep commitment to person-centered care. Her passion for supporting residents and strengthening program quality makes her a tremendous addition to the organization. 

Joni Hayden, a long-time member of the Bowen Health team, has accepted the position of Director of Community Engagement for Marshall County. Joni has a proven track record of demonstrating dependability and integrity while meeting objectives and directives throughout her many years in Plymouth leadership. She will work closely with leadership at both the Plymouth and Bremen locations to grow presence and impact throughout Marshall County. 

Bowen Health has launched psychiatric services in Syracuse (Kosciusko County) with the addition of Bill Cupp, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, who is now accepting new patients at Bowen Health – Syracuse.  

Christa Yeakle, FNP is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who is now accepting new patients at Bowen Health – Wabash, where she brings more than 20 years of critical care experience and serves as a primary care provider for individuals of all ages.   

Shelly Prichard, FNP is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who is now accepting patients at Bowen Health - Fort Wayne, Rudisill Boulevard. Shelly provides primary care services to patients, one year and up, throughout Allen County.  

These additions reflect Bowen Health’s ongoing commitment to expanding high quality, accessible mental health and medical services throughout northern Indiana.
