Twice a year, Bowen Health honors employees who best reflect the organization’s values of RespectIntegrityMission, and Stewardship. The nominations are submitted by employees.

The most recent honorees include the following:

Elena De La Cruz Fearnow, Practice Administrator in Warsaw, guided the opening of a new Bowen Health location this fall. Elena was hailed as a highly proactive leader who anticipates needs and provides quick follow-through. 

Kristen Keuhl, Hospital & Crisis Services Director described as one of the most passionate and dedicated individuals on staff, embodying true leadership through leading by example, fostering an environment where staff are challenged and respected, creating a culture of mutual respect. 

In the nomination for Allyssa Quick, Practice Administrator in Plymouth, she was hailed as consistently ensuring services are efficiently tailored to patient needs and acting as a vital bridge between schools and families, helping students overcome barriers, including transportation issues, to achieve stability. 

Sarah Adams, a Skills Coach Mentor in Kosciusko County, was recognized for her steadfast commitment to patient dignity and support above all else.

Shannon Walters-Harvey, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, in Fort Wayne at the Goshen Road location, got high marks for setting the standard for quality integrated care and her inspiring, compassionate patient interactions.

Katie Lyons, a Certified Medical Assistant for Transitional Living, was recognized for going above and beyond to ensure the best patient experience, proactively managing critical details, and ensuring patients address their physical and mental health needs. 

Johnna Jones, a Skills Technician in Kosciusko County, was described as a lifeline for students, empowering them with patience and kindness and making a deep, lasting impact on the futures of her young patients.

Diane Stiles, a Licensed Community Social Worker in Syracuse, was nominated because she successfully kept a patient grounded and safe until emergency responders arrived, directly saving a life, reflecting extraordinary composure and professional capability in a high-risk situation.

Maegan Young, a Patient Services Representative in Fort Wayne at the Goshen Road location, was honored for going the extra mile to understand complex patient needs and showing deep commitment and compassion for every patient.

Marika Bolden, a Patient Services Representative in Syracuse, was touted as handling a crisis situation with clear, calm communication and grace under pressure, showcasing her compassion and leadership.

Francisco Brito, the Safety Coordinator at Bowen Health Psychiatric Hospital, creates a safe emotional environment for teammates by practicing empathy and active listening, and builds strong patient rapport, helping to keep patients calm and at ease.
